Plug cutter and silver Peterson's

My plug cutter arrived today, shall have to make a wood block for it. I also pulled some silver Peterson's out to pose for a photograph. They are all next on the 'need to clean' list. Won't be this weekend though, off to Melbourne. Next week perhaps.

  2. I envy you those purty Petes. The cutter? Shaw! If I had eye teeth I'd trade 'em fer that. I'm still using a pocket knife or high carbon butcher knife on my plug, depending whether I'm shaving slices off those rock hard Brit plugs (Warrior, Patomic) or slicing flakes off the softer plugs (dark, cob).

  3. I just love my flake cutter i use everyday it was a gift from Hobo Hoot. The sharpening of the blade the perfect set up took me a whole weekend and many pipes.O what fun.But now its a pleasure to use the perfect flake every time. The Irish Cake i have is rock hard and so cutting with a knife is dangerous.
I did use a cut throat razor before the flake cutter one slip and its to the hospital you go.
