| Just finished turning this pipe. My Daughter bought me a Tap and Die set for Christmas how did she know?. I wanted to make a pipe with interchangeable bowls for a while now. I had experimented with press fits but had no luck. Now i will be able to make other shape bowls to screw on to the stem always tight and sealed. As always when i turn a pipe for myself the block had a few inclusions and a small crack go figure. Andrea said that wood is a natural product and that i have to get over it. And the inclusions and cracks add to its uniqueness and beauty. |
