Stage 1 Comoy's restoration




Sanded the stem with 1500 grit wet and dry removed all the oxidization and the very light bite marks.

  1. Finally got here! Using the square stick to make sure the sides of the stem remain square is clever, not many people would have thought to do that.

    You are right about pipe stem logos that are inserted, great to know you won't polish them off. For me Stanwells are the worst as the logo on the stem tells you so much about the grading of the pipe - and yet it is one of the easiest logo's to sand/polish off.

  2. Yea a flat stick was needed there was no way i was going to loose the crisp squareness of the bit.And yes the white c really popped.
