Only smoked a mini cob so far.
I has a unique taste but i like it.

The tin that keeps on giving i get to smoke it, it cost 1/2 price,I get to stick it to the Nanny State, all so a new tin for my collection and i get to blog about it nice.
The black Malory is good there is something different in i have not tasted before.
I fairly sure its not cased or top flavored.
But then again almost all tobaccos are cased in some way
i wish i knew more and could identify the tobacco flavors.

  3. I rekkin Black Mallory has changed over the years!!! My Black Mallory from 16 years ago is coal black. Black as a dark night in the bush. No light colored tobacco in it whatsoever. I opened the tin myself so I know it was black from the beginning, no aging coloration happening. I am shocked at what was in that tin you opened. Yeah. BM surly has changed. It has to taste different since there is so much difference in them. Oh well. At least some of the "re-makes" as as good or almost as good as the old, originals.

  4. For me Chuck it's all about smoking different tobacco's and not paying $44 to do it.
Plus your choice very limited in Australia.
It sucks to be a pipe smoker here.
Any tobacco that's not borkum riff gets me excited how sad is that.
Dam Nanny state and dam the tax man too.

  6. I hear where yer coming from. I was just noticing the difference in the tobacs that are supposed to be the same blend. In your situation I'd be happy to get it too. Very happy. Do the federales there hit you up pretty hard if an incoming package is searched and found to contain terbaccy? I know tha postal peelers in England kick their butts bloody with fines/levees/taxes in such a situation.

    1. They want you to pay the tax and duty and send the receiver a bill for it.
You have to pay the gst 10% and the duty $400/kg
If you don't pay they distroy it.
The tobacco i have was sent as collectible Tin,Chocolate
A shop has to declare its tobacco or they get big fines.
I think that the customs are more worried about Drugs than tobacco.
The key to it i think is to not be greedy.
The most i have received is 150 grams.
Even if you get 50 grams about $12 and postage is $12 i still save $20.
Worst case is you loose the tobacco well worth the gamble.
