Pipe tour of Victoria

DUNOLLY COURT HOUSE
The imposing Classical courthouse consisting of a large central section with symmetrical side-wings was built as the town hall in 1862. It changed its function in 1887. It contains photographs and artefacts relating to the courthouse and the old goldfields. It can be viewed but by appointment only. Next door to the courthouse, on the police station property, is the town's original brick lock-up (1859). Opposite is James Bell's mansion (1869).

The train station at Maryborough, Victoria
Maryborough railway station is located on the Mildura line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the town of Maryborough opening in 1874.[1] It is the terminus of V/Line passenger services from Ballarat and Melbourne Southern Cross.
Maryborough is a major junction with cross country routes to Moolort and Ararat. The Avoca line from Ararat is standard gauge and dual gauge track that runs through Maryborough to the north as far as Dunolly. There are the remains of dock platforms at both ends of the main platform.

Pipe tour of Victoria

The town of Majorca is in central Victoria.
Now a ghost town, Majorca was founded in 1863—towards the end of the Victorian gold rush—after two prospectors struck gold at nearby McCallum’s Creek. Two months later, there were 250 stores and restaurants catering to a population of around three to four thousand, although many shops and residents soon returned to nearby Maryborough.
My wife Andrea's great great Grandfather was the Mayor at one time.

A 1905 Victorian rail carriage.
This place was amazing just 20min out of Port Fairy.
Beautiful gardens and great restored carriages to stay in.
