New Pipe

Turned a new pipe today the briar stem is screwed in to the bowl.
The same thread as  my other bowl and churchwarden stem.
So they can be swapped around .
It is the start of a set of a set of bowls that can be screwed on to either stem.

The real great escape pipe spotting

Stammlager Luft III, more commonly known as Stalag Luft III was a Luftwaffe-run prisoner-of-war camp during World War II captured allied airmen. It was situated in the German Province of Lower Silesia near the town of Sagan (now Żagań in Poland) about 100 miles south east of Berlin.

Churchwarden adapter

Hobo Hoot gave me this pipe a few months ago it had a broken stem.
I drilled and tapped the pipe 8mm and opened up the airway.
The original drilling was to deep so i drilled the bowl a bit deeper to better match up.

Missouri Meerschaum Churchwarden

There is a slight taper on the tenon as the cob's vary in size.

Turned an adapter to fit my churchwarden stem into corn cob pipes.
Missouri Meerschaum corn cobs smoke so cool even better with the long stem.
Now to make adapters for some of my other pipes.
