This weeks Tobacco

Burley Cavendish Virginia And Rum flavored flake.
This is my second tin of this
it's just the right strength for me .
I like to  fold and stuff the flake.
Smokes slow smooth and cool.
For now its going in the cupboard as i still have some of the first tin left.

This is a traditional pipe mixture of which 80% is prepared from six different types of Virginia leaf. The remaining 20% is a specially prepared black tobacco (nor Cavendish or Negrohead) made by us from air-cured leaf. This is possibly the only British made tobacco containing this particular ingredient. The unique added flavour [Plum&Spice] gives an agreeable taste and pleasant aroma. Origin Channel Islands.
I'm looking forward to smoking this but i will cellar it for a while as i have enough
tobacco open to last me a while.
This will be the 42nd  different tobacco i have smoked.

The new Ronson Pipe

I have one that Hobo Hoot gave me.
Hoot said i should try my bowls on it.
Good idea as the fit like a glove.
These pipes have a single start thread .
The Falcon 4 start thread.
But my o ring system molds itself to fit both threads perfectly.
The bowls sit flush and seal tightly.
The only way to remove it is to unscrew.
There is no way they can be pulled off.

Just finished smoking the pipe
smokes as cool as the falcon just a little harder to clean.
A good pipe and a lot rarer than a  Falcon we will see how it goes being thrashed.

Nice bike

Falcon Bowls

Art Deco Falcon Pipe Bowl

At last there are no inclusions nice.

Fresh out of the lathe.

I didn't need to use any sandpaper on this bowl.
As the turned finish was great.
I used my compound slide and High Speed Steel tool bits.
So the groves are accurately spaced and the same depth. .
I modified the Compound Slide so i can turn angles now.
The finished is pure carnauba wax only.
As i have found with my other bowls it will darked a lot when smoked.
