Clay makes me hard

I don't know why, but clay pipes make me hard. There is something so pure about earth + baccy + fire, nothing else. That and I love how they taste...and the challenge of putting colour into them...anyways - below is a diagram of a clay pipe kiln. If I were a rich man...

The making of a Falcon bowl my way.

Parting off the leg of the block

Turning 1/2 of the bowl.

I machined the end to the same dimensions as the falcon bowl.
The 4 start thread is the problem.
The bowl is a tight fit with out the o ring.
But with the o ring in place it bites into the thread.
Tight and sealed perfectly.

Loaded it up smoked perfect when it is run in it should be fine.

There a few inclusions in the wood.
I will smoke it and see if my design works over time.
And then i can make different shapes.

Eh, you Spanish bastards!

He's all like...no, you give me many beads for baccy, Spanish DOGS! Hey HD, is this the same as the picture on the side of your Savinelli humidor?

Chuck's leg

Chuck how are your injuries healing.

A gift from the pipe god

Thanks Hobo Hoot.
Now the challenge begins.
Wood turning the art of turning perfectly good wood into wood shavings.

If only I had one...

One day I shall have a beautiful clay pipe with a fitted case...one day. I look at the picture below and drool, *SIGH*

Note: Pipe case made from walnut.

Interesting clay pipe illustration

Found this today, I thought the tools shown were interesting. Perhaps someone could take a shot at naming them? Let the contest begin!
